Historic WW1 hiking trail ‘Walk of Peace’ in Lonely Planet

The Walk of Peace is a 320 kilometres long trail that follows the infamous Isonzo front lines from WW1 and connects the many heritage and memorial sites – including 15 outdoor museums – along the former front. The route is dedicated to open dialogue and respect for all cultures and it is included on Unesco’s tentative list.

We are happy to announce, that Visit GoodPlace became the official tour organiser of this exceptional route full of history, beautiful landscapes, great food and wine.
