Trans Slovenia 02 tour starts at Baško Lake (Faaker See) across the Karavanke Alps entering into Slovenia. The Trail then connects the famous Bled and Bohinj Lakes across the Pokljuka plateau and continues through Soriška Planina Mountain to Cerkno. The next stage is Idrija – UNESCO heritage Site. The Idrija trail follows into the town of Ajdovščina with once again a completely different environment – The Dinarides. Moving on from Ajdovščina you find yourself in the Karst region where the trail passes by the Škocjanske Caves – a UNESCO Heritage Site and definitely one of the most beautiful Karst phenomenon in the world. Soon you’ll be riding through Istria and finishing your journey in the Slovenian Adriatic pearl town Piran.
