Cycling MTB Tours
Slovenia – and the surrounding countries – Austria, Italy, and Croatia – are definitely among Europe’s best mountain biking destinations.
Four different geographical worlds meet here: the Alps, the Pannonian Plain, the Dinaric Mountains, and the Mediterranean. This diverse landscape lets us make MTB tours that are different every day.
One day you’re breathing in the sharp air of the Julian Alps on a mountain pass and the next day you’re descending through the fairy-tale river valley. After that, you’re toasting to life among the sun-drenched vines and finish your epic MTB trip with a refreshing jump into the Adriatic Sea.
At the same time, different cultures and climates overlap here, which means that not only the terrain and views during the day are diverse, but also the whole experience. Our mountain bike tours are not just sports or adventure vacations, they are more than that – we do our best to introduce you to the places where we grew up, with excellent local cuisine, boutique, family-owned accommodations, and cultural and historical attractions.
Our knowledge of the places in which we have enjoyed mountain biking ourselves since we were little allows us to develop excellent mountain biking holidays for different tastes and levels of difficulty.
Our guided mountain bike trips mostly take place on natural terrain, off-the-beaten tracks on mountain and forest paths and trails, while we also offer a special tour that visits several MTB bike parks; some of them have already hosted the European and World Championships in mountain biking.
Our agency is:
-
local driven, boutique and responsible
-
committed to sustainability
-
5* rated on Tripadvisor, Google and Facebook
-
recognized in the world-renowned media such as National Geographic, The Guardian, The New York Times and Lonely planet
You can experience Slovenia, Austria, Italy, and Croatia on mountain bikes with our agency in four different ways.
On GUIDED mountain bike tours, you will enjoy the company of our experienced, licensed, and enthusiastic tour guide. We recommend guided mtb tours to everybody who seeks complete relaxation and wants to have only one thing on their mind – great cycling.
They include: accommodation reservations, luggage transfer, transportation from the final destination to the start of the tour, emergency support, navigation, interesting local insights and technical support.
On SELF-GUIDED Mountain bike tours (or supported MTB tours), you will tackle the terrain on your own, but with the full support of our team, who will provide a complete navigation package, accommodation reservations, luggage transfer, transportation from the final destination to the start of the tour, and any other necessary emergency support during your vacation.
The third option is TAILOR-MADE MTB tours, in which we meet your wishes in terms of difficulty, length and altitude of the stages, number of days, and desired accommodations/locations on the route.
And finally, we also offer you to RENT MTB bikes in Slovenia. The bikes are all world-known brands, regularly maintained, and in perfect condition.
We’re very proud to have our own professional cartographers on the team and our own extensive database of mountain bike trails, for which, believe it or not, we have data on the terrain, length, and technical difficulty of each of the 13,610 kilometers.
Yes, we’ve taken mountain biking quite seriously – to make your MTB holidays as carefree as possible.
Welcome!
