Live webinars in January 2024: Cycling, MTB, Gravel and Hiking in Slovenia

Are you interested in exploring Slovenia (and the surrounding countries) by bike or on foot, but would you like a little more insider information? Together with our guides, we are preparing four live webinars in which we will talk why we love to cycle or hike around our country and what foreign guests admire most on our tours. There will also be time to answer your questions. The session will last approximately 45 minutes.
We will present you why it is worth visiting our neighborhood, Slovenia and Croatia, where most of our tours take place. Our guides will tell you first-hand about the landscape and climate diversity of the countries, the cuisine; how in this small area almost every day is different from the last, and how despite some world-famous tourist spots, we can still find a huge number of wonderful routes in the middle of wilderness that brings you to friendly locals who will reward your visit with superb local food and wine. When designing tours, we have exactly this in mind: how to present the original homeland to the visitor and at the same time help people stay in their places instead of moving to big cities and leaving their homesteads to decay.

About the content of the webinars:

The webinar about our TOURING cycling tours will focus on last year’s new Istria Gourmet Cycling Holidays, our most prestigious cycling trip with an emphasis on top gastronomy and regions’ top accommodation. We will also present the Bike Slovenia Green Wellness Route, a cycling tour that we at the agency have divided into two parts, northern (Alpine) and southern (Wine Country).

Our MTB guide will introduce you to last year’s new Trans Croatia: Istria Mountain Bike Tour, a perfect tour for off-season. It alternates between popular summer destinations and remote, forgotten villages in idyllic Istria. We will also explain the difference between two MTB tours in Slovenia, Trans Slovenia 01 and Trans Slovenia 04, which are different enough that we can recommend one rider to do both.

On HIKING webinar, we will focus on the new Best of Slovenia Hiking tour (the name says ALMOST everything) and the already known Walk of Peace, which connects the beautiful nature and the sad history of Western part of Slovenia during the First World War.

And another category that has gained the most new interest in the last few years: GRAVEL. We are very well aware of why this is so, because Slovenia and Croatia are perfect for travelling with this type of bicycle. We will present three new tours: Best of Croatia Gravel Bike Tour, Best of Slovenia Gravel Bike Tour and one more, which should remain a secret for the time being 😉
